Goodbye, cold weather; hello, beautiful blooms, and breezy winds. Let’s not forget the latest spring fashion trends for 2023. Every year, florals bloom in our closets in cheery pastel colors. This spring is all about trend comebacks. The 1950s and other eras make an elegant return. I bought some of these trends without realizing it until I was doing some spring cleaning. What I can’t wait to wear are my bubble hem sleeves and shades of pink and blue. Here are the spring fashion trends we get to look forward to this year!

Trending styles:

Sheer

Sheer has been on trend all year, starting in the fall, and it’s staying around for 2023. Expect to see the latest fashions in sheer tops, or even as your skirt. Every designer was baring all this spring collection, from scandalous sheer nudes to popping bright pinks and purples. This look might not be for everyone, but it’s a fun one to try. Confidence is key when showing a hint of curves and some sexy lingerie. Wear it right, and it will bring you sheer joy!

Bubble Hems

This spring is all about floating around, feeling light as air as you rock bubble hems. Turn heads with an elegant bubble sleeve or flow with a bubble hem. Another trend is making a big comeback. Bubble hem started in the 1950s. The bubble silhouette started out as an experiment by Pierre Cardin and Hubert Givenchy. Which still lives on as an elegant cocktail or prom dress. Who knows, you might be rocking this look at your next spring formal or night out with the girls.

Florals

Blooms and florals, from small little flowers to oversized blooms, will always rise to the top around spring. This year, it isn’t your average flower power. Fashion brands show beautiful interpretations of flower petals through long, wavy skirts and party dresses. Make it your own this year by pairing a floral top with some leather pants. If you thought florals couldn’t get any more daring, you were mistaken.

Blue Hues

I love that these spring color trends are all bright and vibrant hues. Adding blue hues to the mix will add eye-popping color to your spring outfits this year. From cobalt blue to light pastel powder blues, the 2023 spring fashion shows were full of it. We can’t forget denim blue, which you could pair with any other trendy color hues this spring.

Shades of Pink

Of course, pink is popular this spring, but I love that there are just different shades of pink. My favorite dress I have right now is almost a deep mauve kind of pink, and it’s great for everyday wear, dates, or just going to social events. I love how different pinks are great for all skin tones, and everyone can rock it in their own way. and everyone can rock it in their own way.

High Octane Sequins

Whether you’re attending a glamorous event or simply going grocery shopping, high-octane sequins will light up the room this spring. Add some spring pastels to the mix, and, honey, it’s on. High Octane first made its sparkly debut in the 1980s. If you’re wondering what “high octane” means, the definition is “full of energy and very powerful.” It sounds like a powerful mantra in the making!

Supa Low Low Rise Jeans

Fashion icons like Bella Hadid and Julia Fox have been flaunting this trend since January. 2023 has taken on a whole new meaning for low-rise jeans. If you think they couldn’t get any lower, think again. Trends on social media, such as TikTok shown influencers, show tips and tricks for making your low-rise jeans extra low to show off your hourglass figure. Simple modifications like rolling down the hems and leaving the front unbuttoned while folding the zipper. This trend was originally made as a statement and as an excuse to show off a low-back tattoo, aka a tramp stamp. Many pop stars, like Britney Spears, made this style iconic.

Neo-Gothic

Thanks to the new Netflix show Wednesday we are back to Black and loving every moment of it! It’s not just Adam saying it’s in, but it’s also been seen on the runways of Dior and Versace. Gothic trends always pop up here and there. What makes this year different is the Neo-Gothic era. Neo-Gothic consists of big chunky jewelry and old school lace and fabrics. giving off a dark and mysterious antique-like vibe.

Fringes

Textures are back and are as fun as ever. From Anne Hathaways’ bright fringe dress to all of the high-end name brands featuring fringe in their spring/summer collections, fringe is everywhere. What I love about this trend is how playful it is. You can go all out with a glamorous outfit or you can make it casual with a fringe top over a simple pair of jeans. Either way, you’ll stand out and look fringing cute this spring.
